WARE CARE & USE

Are wares food safe?

Yes, all of our wares are food safe unless otherwise noted.  Lava wares are an exception and should only be used with dry foods.

Can wares be used in the microwave?

Yes, all of our wares are microwave safe unless otherwise noted.

Can wares be used in the oven?

Please see each listing to determine if your wares are oven-safe.  If so, we recommend that they not be placed under a flame broiler or over direct heat, heated to over 450˚F, or shocked from one temperature to another. To avoid shocking, preheat the dish with the oven if it’s cold from the refrigerator or freezer.  Due to the nature of handmade goods and varying uses at home, we cannot guarantee oven use.

Can wares be cleaned in the dishwasher?

Yes, all of our wares are dishwasher safe unless otherwise noted. We recommend that they not be shocked from one temperature to another. To avoid shocking, allow your dish to cool to room temperature if it’s hot from the oven before washing with cold water. And alternately, allow your dish to warm to room temperature if it’s cold from the refrigerator before washing with hot water.

SHIPPING & RETURNS

How are your wares packed for shipping?

All orders are methodically wrapped, packed, and boxed using recyclable products in a process that is tried and trusted. We do our very best to see that your package arrives safely and neatly, making them perfect for gifting. Should your item arrive broken, please contact us with a picture right away and do not throw away the product or packaging. Every order we ship is insured so your item can be replaced after the insurer is given more information.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we ship internationally. Please select international shipping during the checkout process.

What is your return policy?

We accept returns within 7 days of receipt for a refund of the purchase price or store credit. Our full return policy can be found here.

What if my wares are defective or flawed?

We try our very best to ensure that only durable, quality pieces leave our studio and make their way to your home. If you’ve received flawed or defective wares, we will gladly send you a replacement item and cover the shipping costs or issue a store credit. Please email a photo of the defect to info@corbecompany.com so we can begin the replacement process and take steps to solve the issue in our studio.

General

Can I send my order as a gift?

Yes, all orders have the option to be sent as a "Gift".  Please select the "Gift Option" at checkout and fill in the message you'd like to include.  Each ware in your order will arrive neatly wrapped in our recyclable packaging and with a gift receipt containing your message and all pricing omitted. 

How will I know when my gift arrives with the recipient?

Once your package hits the mailstream, you'll receive an email with a link to track your package.  Please be aware that this email may end up in your email inbox's Spam Folder, so check there if you haven't received it.
